Germaine "Jeri" Cutsor, 87, of Ogallala passed away Sunday evening, August 3, 2014 at the Indian Hills Manor in Ogallala.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at the St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Oshkosh with Fathers Antony Thekkekara and Bryan Ernest officiating. Burial will follow in the Ash Hollow Cemetery.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
A Vigil Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the church.

Jeri was born Dec. 9, 1926 at Petersburg, NE, the daughter of John and Rose (Selting) Faust. When she was 3 months old, the family moved to South Dakota. They lived in several communities around Polo, S.D. where she received her education.
On Sept. 26, 1950, she married Clarence Cutsor, in Polo, SD. They started their married life on a farm south of Sutherland, NE. They farmed for several years, moved into Sutherland for a year, before moving to Keith County, where they ran a resort on the north side of Lake McConaughy for 24 years.
In 1973, they moved near Lewellen, she worked at Albee’s, and for Ash Hollow State Park for many years. She went into Riverview Assisted Living and in 2009 and in 2011 went to live at Indian Hills Nursing Home in Ogallala.
Among her hobbies were gardening and canning, crocheting, playing cards, watching rodeos, and visiting with her friends.
Survivors include her daughters, Rosalie Orr and husband, Butch, of Lewellen, Dolores Tague and her husband Tim and granddaughter Skylan Curnett of Omaha. Grandchildren Misty and husband Jim Biel, Jamie and Jasmine of Lewellen; Tina and husband Steve Hunzeker ,Jaiden, Aleyah and Kyrnne of York, NE; Wesley Delatour and girlfriend Rochelle Earl of Newman Grove; and Molly and husband Pat Skomer of Lincoln, NE.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence in Oct 2009, her parents, brothers Fred Bode, Ben Bode, Ralph Bode and sisters Frieda Witte and Sally Durkin all of South Dakota.
A memorial has been established to St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Oshkosh.
